Bull Moose Workshops

I am offering several two-day workshops here in the Tetons where we will be specifically targeting bull moose. It's a great time of year to be a photographer! The weather is typically wintery, the crowds are typically small(ish), and the bull moose (and bison and bighorn sheep and elk, etc) are typically active and accessible.

I will be taking two participants each day and we will be out for about 3 hours at sunrise, then take a mid-day break, then go back out for about 3 hours in the evening. We will spend two days together trying to make amazing photos of our early winter wildlife here in Jackson Hole. I will be right beside you the whole time, offering suggestions on exposure, composition, camera settings, and finding the 'best' moments to photograph.

My normal private workshops cost $1695 per day, but I am offering these workshops for much lower - a total of $2295 per person for the two-day workshop. This is a great opportunity to come make some great photos here in the Tetons at a discounted rate!

  • 2 participants only (plus me!)

  • Cost is $2295 pp

    • includes two 6-hour days in the field

    • pick up at your hotel in Jackson

    • $750 non-refundable deposit due at sign-up, full payment will be due 11/1/25.

    • Lodging and meals are not included.

  • A note about fitness: We will be walking through treacherous sagebrush, and likely deep snow, to get to some moose. Your mobility and fitness are very important for this trip so please make sure you are in appropriate physical condition to carry heavy gear through difficult terrain.
